What is the freelance futurism Commission?
Introducing the Freelance Futurism Commissions!
These commissions grew out of our discussions with freelancers at the end of 2022. At Cultural Freelancers Wales we aim to amplify the voices of freelancers, and we know that we as freelancers are experts on our own communities and industries. This grant aims to harness that expertise, and give freelancers the reins in shaping the future of their industries.
What does your industry need? What resources do you wish to see? What support do you and your fellow freelancers need?
If you have ever wished to change your industry, because you can see from the inside exactly what needs to change, but you need things such as support, space, networking and funding to get going, this is the grant for you!
The Freelance Futurism Commission will be 6 grants of £3000, not including access costs.
Applications for the grant will open 27th February, and close at midnight Sunday 8th April.

Tyfodd y comisiynau hyn allan o’n trafodaethau gyda llawryddion ar ddiwedd 2022. Ein nod yn Llawryddion Celfyddydol Cymru yw chwyddo lleisiau llawryddion, a gwyddom ein bod ni fel llawryddion yn arbenigwyr ar ein cymunedau a’n diwydiannau ein hunain. Nod y grant yw harneisio’r arbenigedd hwnnw, a rhoi’r awenau yn nwylo’r llawryddion i siapio dyfodol eu diwydiannau.
Beth mae ar eich diwydiant chi ei angen? Pa adnoddau hoffech chi eu gweld? Pa gymorth mae arnoch chi a’ch cyd-lawryddion ei angen?
Os ydych ar unrhyw adeg wedi bod yn awyddus i newid eich diwydiant, oherwydd eich bod yn gallu gweld o’r tu mewn beth yn union sydd angen ei newid, ond bod arnoch angen pethau fel cymorth, gofod, rhwydweithio a chyllid i roi’r holl beth ar waith, yna hwn yw’r grant i chi!
Cynigir 6 grant Comisiwn Dyfodoliaeth Llawrydd o £3000, heb gynnwys costau mynediad.
Bydd ceisiadau am y grant yn agor ddydd Llun 27 Chwefror, ac yn cau am hanner nos ddydd Sul 8 Ebrill.
